Supercells and Tornadoes Possible Friday Afternoon – Forecast Overview

If the latest NAM model is even remotely accurate with moisture return, isolated TORNADOES are very possible tomorrow in the TX/OK Panhandles to as far north as southwest Kansas. Plan is for Dominator team to surge west for this chase very early AM just in case storms develop farther west and earlier in the day.

A strong upper-level trough is forecast to eject from the Rockies tomorrow, with supercells firing on advancing dryline by early to mid-afternoon first in western TX Panhandle or eastern NM north to southeast CO, and will move east into deeper moisture.
